The Messner House Classic Beach House One Block from Boardwalk

The Messner House – A charming 1930s beach home built by our Great Grandfather in 1935, located on a peaceful street just a little over a block from the ocean and boardwalk on the south side of town. Nestled on Stockley Street, the street is quiet and neighboring properties are not rented, ensuring a serene atmosphere.

This beautifully maintained home offers 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, blending the timeless appeal of a traditional beach house with modern upgrades.

Bedrooms & Amenities:
Each of the four comfortable bedrooms is furnished with a queen bed, cozy quilts, quality linens, and bath towels. Smart TVs are provided in every room, and the house is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout.

Kitchen, Dining & Family Room:
The fully updated kitchen features sleek stainless steel appliances and all the essentials needed for preparing meals. The adjoining family room boasts a cathedral ceiling and a large dining table, perfect for family meals or enjoying a game of cards together.

Bathrooms:
The three recently renovated bathrooms include stylish tile showers with multiple showerhead options and heated floors for extra comfort. The unique jack an Jill design of the upstairs bathrooms includes two half-bathrooms, each attached to a bedroom and sharing a spacious central shower.

Outdoor Space & Extras:
Relax on the inviting front porch, a perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach. At the back of the house, you'll find the laundry room with washer and dryer located beneath the garage apartment. Garage apartment is occasionally used by family but not rented.

The large outdoor shower, tucked under a canopy of climbing hydrangea, is an absolute oasis. With a rain shower head, it’s one of the best outdoor showers.

Walkway to the rear of the house needs to remain accessible to access the garage apartment and for garbage service to get trash cans to and from the street.

Location:
Just a short 10-minute walk to shops, restaurants, and entertainment, and only a little over a block to the beach and boardwalk. Enjoy easy, free street parking with two parking permits provided, plus space for one car in the driveway.

Pet-Friendly:
We welcome responsible pet owners to bring well-behaved dogs with you for a small fee of $150 for the first dog and $50 for a second. We are happy to offer some pet amenities to help with traveling with your pet.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
